Maureen Brady is a founder and named partner of McShane & Brady. Ms. Brady has dedicated the practice to providing the best representation for injured people and their loved ones. After years of working within the personal injury field, Maureen recognized and developed the cause of action for the wrongful disclosure of medical records when no one else sought to do so. In addition to successfully representing clients whose medical records have been compromised, Maureen has built a successful practice representing clients who have been injured in trucking and auto accidents, slip and falls, nursing home neglect, and wrongful death.

Maureen’s success, commitment and dedication has been recognized throughout the country as she has received numerous awards for her work. She has been selected as a “Super Lawyers” by Thomson Reuters every year since 2013, including showing up on lists such as “Top 50 Women in Missouri, and “Top 100 Lawyers in Kansas City.” Additionally, Maureen was awarded the title of “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers Association since 2014.

With a strong dedication to professional and charitable organizations, Ms. Brady is involved in various organizations in and around Kansas City, including the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Association of Women Lawyers of Greater KC, Missouri Bar Association, Braden’s Hope, Alumni Board of Creighton University, and Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County. Raised in Kansas City, Ms. Brady is proud to call Kansas City home. She attended St. Teresa’s Academy before attending Creighton University. After graduation, Ms. Brady worked for a number of years as a paralegal before graduating law school from Michigan State University. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their families, working on their house, attending Sporting KC games, riding horses, and cheering for the Chiefs!
